MaryLee Sunseri

MaryLee Sunseri returns to The Listening Place - Readers Theater in this new role as a young navy wife. She has appeared in past productions of: Sorry, Wrong Number, The Monkey's Paw, Moliere's The Miser, Foxfire and Every Spreading Moonbeam. In "real life" she is a busy singer-songwriter performing her award winning music for children in schools and libraries. And a new member of the classical concert choir "I Cantori di Carmel." Her credits also include appearing in the MGM Elvis Presley movie The Trouble With Girls, recording nursery rhymes for Mattel Toys' See 'N Say, touring America as a member of “Randy Sparks & The Back Porch Majority,” recording the title song to Walt Disney’s movie The Apple Dumpling Gang, singing back-up for Shirley Jones, opening act for Bill Cosby and Lily Tomlin, and many concert appearances with the legendary Burl Ives.

She received her certificate of study in Musical Theatre from London Drama School with distinction in singing.

Patrick McAnaney

Patrick McAnaney is a enthusiastic student of language, history and theatre. Peninsulans with a long memory may remember him as Merlin in the Forest Theater’s Camelot, and as the provocative Mr. Nichols, in Archibald MacLeish’s J.B.

He enjoys Papyrology, Paleography and singing Presidential campaign songs. (You name the president, Pat will sing you his song). But his greatest delight is playing with his grandchildren.

Pat was raised in Salinas and owns homes in Alameda and Carmel Valley.

Terry Kingsley-Smith is both an actor and an author. Four of his novels have been published, the last two exclusively in England. An earlier novel, The Murder of an Old-Time Movie Star, won the Porgie Award for best new detective fiction. Many of his plays have been performed in Los Angeles. His contribution to the play The Bar Off Melrose won the Los Angeles Dramalogue Award. Another play, Breaking Up The Act, has been performed across the country and will be presented this summer in Australia by the theatre which actress Cate Blanchett runs with her husband. As an actor, Kingsley-Smith has appeared in many Los Angeles television shows and in several plays in that city and on tour. Here in Monterey he has performed at Western Stage, Monterey Peninsula College and at the Cherry Arts Foundation where another play of his, Stage Mother, was presented sometime back.
