2019 "Broadway Bound" by Neil Simon

Part three of his acclaimed autobiographical trilogy (which included Brighten Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues) finds Eugene and his older brother Stanley trying to break into the world of show business as professional comedy writers. While dealing with complex and sometimes rocky family relationships, they find a job where they can write short comedic skits for the radio. The reviews from the family are mixed, but their careers are launched. Ben, the stubborn family patriarch with socialist leanings, provides the play with much warmth and classic Neil Simon humor.
